First of all, I’d like to congratulate you on the Budokai project. It’s the most professional Arenalike I’ve ever seen. The layout, pass system, skins, borders, and so on are great! I thought they were brilliant. My favorite game mode is Draft, since it really is the most competitive and balanced. I like that you’re balancing the characters, not letting some of them have a ton of skills. Four or five is enough. Rarely more than that.

My suggestion is to include a global chat or email. So we can talk to the staff, report bugs, and chat with other players outside of battle. I want to share suggestions and chat with you and others, but I don’t want to have to open Discord for that. I want to do all of this in-game, since that actually keeps players in the game longer and, as a result, makes their experience easier.

I’d like to suggest a PvE game mode, something like: “Scout the Planet.” In Dragon Ball, it’s common to travel to other universes, so the idea is that when we travel to other universes, we’ll use fuel (an item we can obtain through special missions or in-game currency). The idea is to have several travel options, creating a rogue-like system. There would be three paths for each universe we visit. Along these paths, there would be an interaction system (where we can earn bonuses, make things easier, or more difficult), options to avoid fighting in certain areas, and the ability to rest to recover some health (since you won’t regain health after finishing a battle). The goal upon completing a universe and exploring it fully is to face the final boss: a truly challenging battle with several phases, ranging from 2 to 3 boss phases. If we win, we’ll earn Zenis, exclusive borders, exclusive skins, exclusive titles, a ticket to travel to another universe, an exclusive ticket for a special banner, and a spot on the universe explorers’ leaderboard.

To attract more players, I recommend using not only Discord and Reddit, but also TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. In addition, use an invitation system that rewards those who invite new players.

First of all, thank you for the kind words, and for the great suggestions! I’ll be looking into all of them and working on them!

The draft idea is really good, although we do like the old ladder system because we find it more fun!

Yes, the idea is to make the game faster-paced and more fun without losing that essence! Something like the old N-A, but more modern!

Yes, we will have PvE modes, and every idea is welcome. We have a lot of ideas regarding that, and this is definitely a good one!

Yes, one of the biggest challenges is also getting the game out there and promoting it! We hope we can make good use of our redeem system, along with other reward systems for inviting new players!

I’d like to congratulate the team on its proactivity and dedication. You’ve quickly implemented some of the suggestions, and that’s truly wonderful to see.

I have three more suggestions (please consider them at your convenience):

1. Add a filter for characters (skills). This would involve having a filter that lets us sort characters by ki removal, destructive defense, damage reduction, stun, area damage, melee damage, ki, ranged, tactical, affliction, and so on...

2. Add a turn log (for in-game or post game). For example: on each turn, add the actions of each character to a log. So it would look like this: Turn 1, Player 1 used such-and-such ability on so-and-so. Turn 2, Player 2 used invulnerability on such-and-such character and used the Galick Gun with Vegeta on character Y.

3. Add an emote system that can be purchased with in-game currency and real money. This would provide more reasons for players to spend money, and it would give you another source of revenue. Display a wheel with 4 emotes at a time, and let players choose which emotes to use at the start of the battle. Also, create some achievements involving the emotes. However, it’s important to implement a delay on emotes to prevent spamming (something like allowing emotes to be used only once every 10–20 seconds).

The smart filter is coming soon!

But the second option is tricky. I don't want to be accused of copying something that already exists in another arena, like S-A, and I really don't want to go through that stress again. Otherwise, this time, it’s going to be serious.

As for the last one, it already has something similar to an emote plus an extra cosmetic that existed on Super Server, which we already have in mind to adjust.

I completely understand the second case. So, I recommend avoiding it. How about just adding a round counter? For example: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3. Adding the damage tally and the MVP was a great idea.
